Decking looks great until the weather turns. Rain, morning dew, algae and moss build-up can all leave timber, composite and concrete decking dangerously slippery, especially around pools, balconies, walkways and communal outdoor areas. Our high-quality Non Slip 21 treatment tackles this directly, chemically bonding with the surface to restore grip without altering the colour, texture or appearance of your decking.
Whether you’re managing a commercial property, a hospitality venue or a private garden, anti slip decking treatment is one of the simplest ways to reduce slip risk and protect the people using your outdoor space.
Timber decking
Timber is the most common decking material we treat. Our anti slip decking treatment penetrates the surface to improve grip while allowing the wood to retain its natural appearance and texture.
Composite decking
Composite decking can still become slippery when wet, particularly on boards with a smoother finish. We apply a treatment suited to composite surfaces that improves traction without affecting the manufacturer’s warranty or finish.
Concrete decking
Concrete and paved decking areas around pools, patios and communal spaces benefit from the same treatment approach, restoring grip on a surface that’s often walked on with bare or wet feet.
Outdoor decking is constantly exposed to the elements.
Moisture, shade and organic debris create the conditions for algae and moss to take hold, and even a thin, near-invisible layer can dramatically reduce surface grip. Timber decking is particularly prone to this, but composite and concrete surfaces are not immune, especially in areas with heavy foot traffic or limited drainage. Left untreated, this build-up becomes a recurring slip hazard rather than a one-off problem.
Will anti slip decking treatment change how my decking looks?
No. The treatment works invisibly, bonding with the surface without adding a coating, film or colour change.
Can composite decking be treated as well as timber?
Yes. We treat timber, composite and concrete decking, adjusting the approach for each surface type.
Do I need to have my decking professionally cleaned first?
Cleaning is included as part of our process. We pressure wash the decking before treatment to make sure the surface is free of dirt, moss and algae, which helps the treatment bond properly.

Fantastic service – quick response, clear quote, and the work was done the very next day. The difference is noticeable, and we feel much safer walking on our tiles now.

I dealt with Ollie, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. Even though they usually handle big commercial jobs, he made my small domestic job feel just as important. Great service from start to finish!
