It has always been our policy to provide customers with effective, economical answers to their health and safety problems and to advise and help them in whatever areas they may be experiencing difficulties.
One very common query has been how to make floors more slip resistant without causing any damage to either the floor or the cleaning staff using the product.
Many of our clients were finding that their floors were slippery when wet. Their only option was to optimise maintenance, set out warnings and to try and prevent the floor from being wet. In most cases this did not solve the underlying problem; the floor still remained slippery when wet.
Some companies may offer to acid-etch hard floor surfaces, however, this permanently damages the surface, makes it difficult to clean, adversely affects its appearance, is hazardous to work with and is only a temporary fix.
